BACKGROUND
Building Capacity through the Housing Venture Lab
The Housing Venture Lab (HVL) backs housing innovators with bold ideas providing seed funding, hands-on coaching, and access to the Terner Labs network. We're proud to join an international cohort of companies working to make housing more affordable, accessible, and equitable.
For Keyway, this is more than recognition. It's fuel for the infrastructure we're building to help tenants, landlords, and public housing agencies turn housing vouchers into successful, lasting leases.
Too often, families receive rental assistance but still face a fragmented, uncertain path to a home. Keyway brings the people, information, documents, and workflows of that process into one coordinated system; cutting the time families wait, making voucher participation easier for landlords, and giving agencies real visibility into lease-up. That approach is already working.
Through the Housing Venture Lab, we'll learn from experienced housing leaders, sharpen how we measure and scale our impact, and deepen connections with the agencies, providers, funders, and innovators who share our belief that better coordination unlocks more housing.
